One of the many reasons I love Tacomas. I hate power seats in any car. My wife is 5ft tall and I cannot physically get into the truck after she drives without first adjusting the seat. Really sucks in the pouring rain holding down a button waiting for those slow power seats to go back far enough before I can get in. I love manual seats. Full adjustment back in less than a millisecond.

Also if / when the power seat fails I would be shi+ out of luck if it failed in the forward position. I would not be able to drive until it got repaired.

    Ps.
Love the drum brakes and hard plastic dash too. Those soft dashes get cracked in the sun after a couple years but not the Taco dash.

I have had power seats for years and never had one break, but you have a unique situation. I do like having memory, when someone moves my seat, but at the end of the day, I don’t move my seats that often, so I don’t really miss it.

What will you do if the manual seat adjuster breaks in the forward position?

Same here, never had any power seat failures, it's usually just and electric motor and a screw drive, pretty reliable setup.

Im sure if the manual seat adjuster broke it would be easy enough to release, move then use duct tape to hold in position. lol

    No drivers grab handle!

I love watching my 400lb friend try to pull his fat ass up inside my midsized truck that’s almost as big as him. Who needs a grab handle. I like the struggle. Like me trying to see over a sport hood
