Steering Coupling

I am removing the 3 inch body lift on my 98 Tacoma and need a pic of the steering coupling, the previous owner did some kind of mod with a pipe and the old coupler I think. It's being quite the bitch to get apart but I don't want to install the 2 inch suspension lift til I get the body down where it belongs.

Its a matter of structural integrity, the box bolted directly to the frame is part of that as is the cab not swaying around at the end of the extended bolts and plastic spacers which have a tendency to crack in our -30 degree winters up here in Canada. As a personal choice I think the frame hanging down exposed looks terrible not to mention the body gaps to be filled, I might regret losing the ease of getting to the foolishly placed oil filter though.

 

I also live in Canada ...That's why they invented Gap Guards I've had no problems with my spacers at all...3" BL with 3" SL...Throw a set of 33's on er and Bob's you Uncle
