Ill be at speedfest later this month, all of AMS in February and all of Talladega in May, and am considering dropping fall Talladega because the fall racing sucks and doesn't really offer much, but is cheap so well see. I want to do the Bristol night race again.

I would also love to go back to Hickory, Anderson and Senoia for some big races.

I was hoping to do Speedfest this year, but I have to go to Vegas for work and won't return in time. Hence, my justification for going to the racer's dinner at Charlotte. I hope to do Hickory and a trek to Winston-Salem to visit the Winston Cup Museum. Anderson doesn't disappoint unless it rains; which it did at least three times last year.
The Fall Talladega race is statistically the race with the most green flag passes each year.

I don't care who wins, as long as Joey Fagano doesn't win.

While there's no supporting evidence, I expect Chevy to step it up this year.

I was a Bill Elliott fan when I was a kid, so I'm a Chase Elliott fan now. I also like Kyle Larson, but he's getting the short end of the stick with CGR.

That whole weekend sucks... The guys are scared to practice, its only 2 races, and then you have to deal with the fact its a plate race full of obnoxious drunks that didn't come for racing. Mix in the stupid chase and it just isn't that fun.

I was a Bill Elliott fan as a kid, too. I wrote him a letter when I was 12 and got an invite to the shop and museum. I was given personal tour and got to pick out a tire from the “used” heap for free. I was invited back after the season ended and got to meet Bill.

Took my 2 boys to Hendrick Motorsports last year, just to go through the shops, not a actual tour. And what do you know, out of the shop came Chase Elliott walking through the parking lot.

I just hope the Mustang has a problem building speed like the Camaro did last year. And I hope the Camaro likes the new airo package a lot more than last year. Engineers missed something on that thing. At least the Mustang is an actual rear wheel drive car. It will be interesting to see what happens when the Supra is entered by Toyota.

Who won the championship in cup again last year? Must've been someone I don't like.
