Ive got 33in ko2's theyve been a pretty solid set of tires for me but i do agree on slick roads after rain and stuff they do slip a bit if you get on it

My experience about wet traction is on the same car just by switching from Michelin to KO2. With KO2 the truck is much happier to spin wheels on wet pavement. Took me by surprise the first time, now I learned to live with that. Same with 4Runner. No real issue on braking as I keep vary safe distance at any speed. I don't ABS in my truck so I play safe - it's always better to be late 5 minutes than spend the rest of the day waiting for a tow truck.

Yep, with the weight from the cap, rack and gear in the bed along with not driving it like a Model 3 - no issues here.

I keep sand in my bed for extra weight and no issues here with tire slip on my KO2’s

I personally wasn't referring to rear traction. I was referring to actual braking traction. My fronts lock up so easily when it is wet in comparison to my Miata (Also NO ABS and is a Spec Miata so racing in the rain). I know it is due to the weight transfer forward but I am not even talking about slamming on the brakes. Hard even pressure then increasing the pressure to stop will break traction pretty easy for me. Then I go sliding for days. I have to keep a distance 2-3 times greater than most people to ensure I don't slide in to someone if they decide to be an idiot and slam on the brakes.

Very strange. I’ve driven my Tacoma with no ABS 250k miles over 17 years with probably 7 sets of tires from MT to AT and never had an issue with losing traction while stopping in rain. It has to be something to do with your truck being very light weight or front brakes grabbing too hard. Mine is DC V6 4wd.

My KO2's were fine in everything but rain. Suckers would loose traction more than I want and that's driving like a grandma. Dont get me wrong, i love drifting since I am a drifter but for my daily truck it pissed me off. I am running Cooper ST Maxx's now and they are way better then the KO2's. The places that I would always loose traction every time, the Coopers grip.

I guess you're right, but for me it started out pretty good and has gotten worse over time. I'm not sure how many miles I have on these tires, but they have maybe 20k on them? Maybe I'm just not used to driving my truck anymore lol. I no longer use it to commute.

I have a feeling that my proportioning valve may be to blame and not allowing the rear tires to assist in braking. Just a theory. I am going to swap my valve out and see what happens

Not sure if whatever lift (however minor) you gained from your shock and perhaps AAL is to blame but perhaps you need to look at a BPV bracket (?)

I know that I have about a 1 to 1.5 inch lift, but I noticed last week that I can't bleed the valve. (nothing comes out) I have a feeling it is corroded inside.

I upgraded from some hankook AT’s that my truck had when I got it to some ko2’s. The traction is much better on all terrains and more quit too.
