    I kinda of agree, but would like some better engine management. Makes me start thinking I should look into something a little better than UCON and spend some real money for something I can super custom tune to my mods *cough Torspd Haltech cough*

    I’ve had my UCON since nov 2013 and haven’t had one bit of an issue. I wonder how many have had issues that are 09+ compared to 05-08

    I don't think this is a UCON issue. It is actually an aid in troubleshooting. Never had any UCON issues myself.

    My truck runs great with the CAI cover off in the winter months. Sounds great too. You’re right though, the ucon definitely has a bell curve on performance which eventually needs resets.

    As for @mr.trd the ucon and high elevation didn’t mix well from my experience.

    To me OV just seems like a bandaid over the pig rich TRD tune. It might show some improvements, its not going to do anything special like UCON or better.

    May get it anodized in some blingy color.

    Have a green belt that needs trimming and still haven't ordered a Roush tensioner so it's not happening for a little while yet.

    I have a property that's been for sale in a shitty market but if it sells I'm probably springing for meth and maybe a Roosty y-pipe

    Long time!

    I’m with you, but it seems like the people that had the most issues were ‘12-‘15. For the ‘11, once it was all installed, everything started as it should have for me. The only tweaking Scott and I (....just him) did was pulse width adjustment to help take a little richness out but since then (which was back in March, it’s been great).

    I’m gonna have to reach out to him soon once I put the new headers on and I’ll also do the 2.85 at that time also

    I finally added hose clamps to stop the fluid from intermittently vomiting at every connection

    I need to glue/epoxy this stainless steel boss to 6061 aluminum. This is for an electrical bulkhead on a fuel tank. So it needs to be fuel resistant, needs to not only bond but form a seal, and needs to be able to survive life under a Taco in Texas environmental conditions.

    What product should I use?

    How about a RTV silicone like for an intake gasket? Being two different metals I doubt a rigid epoxy would hold.

    Cleaned and scarrified surfaces should be great with RTV. do a test if time allows. I just know how much of a bitch that stuff is to clean off a gasket surface. Napa sells something called 'the right stuff' my pops swears by it.

    FWIW, I spoke with the Magnuson reps at SEMA about this, for a friend. They claimed a 3rd Gen supercharger IS in development, but couldn't/wouldn't commit to a specific schedule for availability. (I realize they may have been blowing smoke, but it didn't seem that way.)

    Anyone have any input on this?
    I will have some garage time available this weekend and want to get plenty of ammo on hand.
    I have read that plastic/ or bad connectors on the Vac/Boost line can cause spikes?
    Your description of the UCON learning and improving control after getting some more miles makes sense. That is probably part of why Scott has me capture a steady cruise before performing the 1-3 WOT pulls.

    Usually a cracked plastic connector or a cracked hose will cause lower boost and vacuum readings, I really don't see a way they can create a spike. I recently replaced my engine and found two cracked host locations. One was on the boost port for my mechanical pressure guage and the other was the curvy little hose going from the VSV to the supercharger intake arm. The boost port hose/tube adapter was actually quite noisy and not hard to find.

    I would think that either your electronic gauge has something going on internally, or your bypass valve is malfunctioning. It could be sticking, or have a leak at one of the hose ends causing the boost to build up when you let off the throttle. You need to identify when you to see the spikes, is it only when you let off the throttle or is it under load with constant throttle?

    Edit: saw that you reported the spikes under high loads. You need to check the hose going to the bypass valve.
