It would pass Texas inspection with my buddy Franky without ever touching Texas soil. Because we are buddies like that :anonymous:

Unibodies are over rated. Just buy it and burn the wheels off of it

OPs Taco. He needs to stop beating around the bush and bring out the real armor for his ride. We have stood in the side lines long enough. The bullbar should & will happen in 2019

Why wouldn't it pass inspection for rust on the body? I have seen some nastier shit than that driving on the rds in MD and come through shops I've worked at.

She actually brought up the plate on the phone, yes it's supposed to be "Sick Unit" but they ran out of letters for the "K". It previously had "AllTrac" which I think is cool. When she told me about "Sick Unit" I didn't ask any further questions...

If you plan suspension/armor/etc... you really have to ask whether you want a locker or not, whether you want aesthetics and larger diff gearing, and whether you really want a specific color or not. It's all what you plan on doing to and with the truck.

Don't want to jack your thread with my indecisive truck shopping bs. I want a locker because I don't want to want one later. I don't have any desire to go bigger than 285's so I don't think gearing is an issue. And I want a specific color, but after 3 months my desire for instant gratification is starting to outweigh that desire.

Or get a sport and throw in an air locker. If you plan on getting an OR then color matching the chrome pieces or even getting a hood skewp, your creeping into the price range of just throwing a locker in the sport. I’ve been looking up air compressors and I want to lock either the front or rear in the near future.

I guess my current conundrum is as follows, how long does a super white baja with a little better stance, delay the inevitable addition of 3", and wheels/tires to a stock OR in a more preferable (to me) color.
