As much as I tell myself while I'm sitting at my computer, "yeah I'm going to get out an go trail riding with these guys, I'm going to build such a sick truck........." The reality is, it's going to sit in my driveway 95% of the time, it's going to go to the Outer Banks surf fishing a few times a year, and go camping a few times a year.

 

Oh for fucks sake, I quit.

IMO that price is a bit high and should be more in the 24K range. I'm fairly certain that the only difference between the TX Baja and a TRD OR back then was the shocks and bedside stickers.

 

Yeah, wheels, shocks, stickers and from what I've read the springs in the front. Bring it up 1.75". It is high, and I agree with the 24k. My thought process is, since they've been sitting on it for at least 2, maybe 3 months I might be able to get them down to the 24k neighborhood. Which isn't that much more than a stock OR same year/miles, and may curb my desire to want to immediately dump 3k+ in suspension, wheels and tires on a stock OR to get it looking how I want.

Basically, I HATE making decisions. hahaha

 

You are right. Because it came off the line as an OR and sent across the street to TRD and they added their touch. Oh and the exhaust.

 

Oh yeah...forgot about the wheels. I was including the front springs when I said shocks...my bad. I did like those wheels a lot, but to me that doesn't justify a huge uptick in price from the OR. I think you are spot on with the time on the lot and offering them 24K...chances are they want to move that inventory sooner rather than later. Good luck!

I ditched the wheels and put FJ trail team matte black on.

 

Thank you kindly. The wife thinks it's ugly, we'll see what that does to the process as well.

 

Honestly I did like it...I want to put it on my current truck, but it is pricey. Wonder if the 4.0 vs 3.5 V6's might make a difference too? Don't know, but I thought it sounded good on the Baja.

 

I like the wheels, in bronze. OOO those would look good.
