Hey so would any of y'all be willing to help me cut up my truck?

Need to do the CMC, hammer the pinch weld flat, cut a couple inches out of the fenders and flares, and then I can mount these guys up.

Yeah I'll say! That looks great haha

Since I have no tools suitable for this, I'm certainly willing to drive and pay my way. I'm open to any option!

Yeah man! I figured I'd see if I can break these before spending more money on nicer wheels haha

I can do it for sure. Idk how soon you’re wanting to do it, but we’re probably going to have a mod day next weekend or the weekend after at my house. I’ll have a lift to put on, gotta do some wiring on a buddy’s 3rd gen, and we can do all the stuff on yours. I’ve got tools and shit and can help ya out or just help get you started and let you roll with it then help if needed.

Now that I've got that Daily Driver mod I'm in no rush, but I'd love to get it done before LBL. I'll definitely show up and help out with whatever I can help with! If there's time to do something on my truck that's cool, but no worries if not. I love mod days haha

We can definitely get it done before LBL. It’ll be kinda last minute depending on when my coilovers finally show up, but I’ll let you know for sure.

Remember when I was talking about wheel-to-tire ratio? This is what I meant.

I say wiring. We’re installing fogs into a truck that didn’t have fogs from the factory

Should I go 5100 Bilsteins with wheel spacers to use my stock wheels on 285/75/16?

    Welcome!

You'll need the wheel spacers to get the tires off the UCA and frame. Probably have to ditch the mud flaps, trim some plastic, and cut the cab mount if you want the tires to cycle through the suspension's full range without rubbing. Not a big deal at all, as long as cutting on a new truck doesn't bother you. Lifting the front end isn't going to prevent rubbing. It will just change where (in the suspension's range) the rubbing will occur. i.e. You might not rub rolling down the road, but drive over a speed bump or a ditch and ruuuuuuuub. Lifting just changes the point at which the truck sits at ride height withing your suspension's upper and lower limits.

    Oh, and...

    :worthless:

The tires don't bother me. Those wheels, especially color matched, bother me.
