I use the King one which is basically a long metal punch...it works but I have bent it while using it with the coilovers on the truck. Actually kind of works better now though with a curve to it

Got the tranny out. Only trouble was the bracket that goes from the transmission housing to the exhaust. The bolt in the exhaust side broke off. Spend an extra hour drilling that out. Had a friend come over and help me wrestle the transmission out and in. Quit for the night. Transmission is in with two bolts finger tight in the bell housing. Cross member is in and bolts slid through. Will finish up tomorrow. Tired, going to bed.

Pull the 20 amp 4x4 fuse and make sure everything in the truck still works. Do you have a rear locker? I'm not positive but the 4x4 fuse may control a factory locker.

Tried that... The fuse does not control the locker. And the jumper I used will still gives power to whatever the fuse came from (if the fuse even controls anything)

Its 21" not sure of the lumen output, it was on the truck when I bought it a couple of years ago. I'm still up in the air about the new look myself but never really cared for the all black look either, that's why I peeled the plasta dip off the grill.

Does anyone know if someone makes a bed rack similar to this one? What I'm mainly looking for is a 1st gen rack that can hold mountain bikes on the side like this. Screenshot_20190103-071940_Chrome.jpg Screenshot_20190103-071731_Chrome.jpg

I'm glad I bought a new flywheel because the old one was trashed. It's hard to tell from the photo but it has some major groves in it. Will finish putting everything back together today.

It was a bit after noon, and as we pulled out of the gas station, I suggested that we eat lunch once we got out of town and back on dirt...Then, as we headed southeast, rain. Not just a little rain either - this was serious, truck-washing rain.

"And so it begins." said Monte over the CB, followed shortly by "F*ck you rain." It wouldn't be the last time...

I just read day 1&2, that road that goes by the actual school house is a complete shit show after a good rain, or was like 10 to 11 years ago when I first went through there.

Impassable in a full sized pulling a couple 4 wheelers. We still wash that red mud out of the enclosed that went.

I’m kinda curious if you guys took the trail we’ve taken a few times on wheelers. I’ll have to ask.
