    Hi Everybody,

My brother in law is selling his 1985 white Xtracab pick-up. He lives in Ft. Lauderdale. It's in pretty good shape-obviously, by the miles, it's not been driven a lot but it still makes it to my house in the Florida Keys regularly.
He seems to be thinking about $7000.00
    Anyone?

THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT I WANT!!!

I would love to buy it!!! ...but I just had to turn down my best friend. He was willing to sell me back my old Jetta TDI for $1000 to help him out of a money crunch.

Unfortunately, my own money crunch is killing me. Until the house in Houston sells, I have no money to spend on anything. :(

Sorry to hear you're still having problems with the house. I watched something on hte news yesterday about how bad of a market it is right now for anyone selling a house. any idea what you're gonna do?

Only thing I can do... wait. :(

Yeah, it is pretty much destroyed in the Houston Area. My agent says that she has never seen things this way. The news is making things worse. Buyers are scared to buy. I have even lowered the price of my home by $25,000 (thanks to some family help).

Wow! thats a huge price decrease! i dont know why people would be scared to buy. i'm actually looking at houses. they call it a buyers market for a reason. buy now while its cheap, and eventually sell it for more, things wont stay this way forever. It's not like the worlds population is decreasing, there will always be a demand for housing, it just flulctuates. If i were unfortunate enough to live in Texas i would come by and check out your house. Anyway, sorry to hear your still having problems on the market, hope things get better for you soon.

    Tom,

I would get some pictures on here. That will definitely help you sell it. If you want a bigger forum for Toyota Diesels, check out the classifieds on http://toyotadiesel.com/forums/. I know there are some guys over there that are always looking for a good diesel toy. :D
