Sold my truck but made sure to remove the wiring harness and bulbs. PM me if you want them. Best upgrade out there hands down. Bulbs might have 3 hours of use in the fogs.

I’m not even sure they still make these. The harness is also a good upgrade for 3rd gen headlights.

Just bought a set of Morimoto LED foglights. Should be a decent upgrade over stock.

So I called rallylights and asked for Ray, I was told he retired last year, but you can still place orders for hl282h11 harness

That would explain why my email to him went unanswered. Thanks for the update!

Does anyone know where to buy the Volsa H9? I’ve tried my best google-fu but can’t find anything.

Places that sell Volsa products like Candlepower will just sell H9s but may send Narva, Philips, Osram or Volsa as they are all equivalent. I am working on tracking down what appears to be the first non-coated performance H9 +100 bulb from Lunex out of the UK. Hope to have more info next week.

Awesome, you’re the man. Got my Ultimate backuplight installed and it’s awesome. Have the Ultimate headlight mod parts on order (bulbs from candlepower) and now want to complete the Ultimate stealth trifecta! Will watch the thread for updates. Thanks again crashnburn80 for all the info and guidance you put into the forum!

In addition to trying to get ahold of what promises to be the highest performance clear H9, I've also ordered a few different 'All Season' high performance H9s. After my experience with the ultra high performance Osram All Seasons, I'm eager to get something similar in my fogs as I really like cutting the blue light out of the spectrum.

    Osram All Season H4s:

I ripped the wires on my passenger side fog light. I have contacted rally lights about the upgraded wiring. I may have very well missed it, but is there a step by step for putting this wiring kit in? When installed, will they be just like the factory fogs, or will they come on at any time?

The wiring harness just increases voltage to the bulbs to make them burn brighter and have more current capacity, they still operate like stock. You need to do the fog anytime mod to make them independent.

Be sure to protect your damaged wires on the passenger side from a short. Wire damage should be repairable, but the harness will effectively remove those wires from the fog circuit.

    Instructions for install:
    1) Unplug both lights
    2) plug harness into driver side OEM harness light plug
    3) Connect harness to both lights
    4) Connect harness to battery

Thanks. That's what I prefer. I don't want them staying on all the time incase I forget to turn them off

Does anyone have a quick schematic of the harness?

I don’t on hand but it is a basic power switched single filament bulb harness. If you look up a schematic for any single filament bulb it will be about the same, unless it is for a ground switched vehicle.

Ok. I'm brainstorming right now. I don't have any factory wiring for fogs and I thought maybe I could figure out the wiring for the Rallylights harness. If I could do that, I could omit the OEM plug at the end and run it straight to a switch.

That would certainly work. You can order the harness without the connector.

After using my fogs in the most extreme snow conditions yet and being unhappy with their performance I’ve been working on building something better, with less short wavelength light and a more amber/yellow color.

Not ready yet, but here is a sneak peak at some data.

@crashnburn80 -- When you list 'ultimate H9 fogs',, you are referring to the Volsas H9 bulb discussed earlier in this thread?

That is correct. Those are not available but had comparable output to the Flossers at a lower power consumption.
