Alright, I just watched the video. Seems like you're going about it the right way. I can no longer be of any help. Maybe I'll try to get mine out when I get to work. If I can, I'll meet up with ya somewhere in my travels tonight and swap em

I’ve had those days... sometimes all it takes is another set of eyes and hands to sacrifice to the angry parts gods.

Lemme known if ya accomplish this, I’m thinking about getting them as well...

One MFer down. I sprayed/soaked the hole with liquid wrench. Not sure if that did anything, so I followed that up with carb/choke cleaner. Do not use carb choke cleaner.

Sounds about right for such a situation.

Smoke break between frustration dealing with shaft holes....

2 down... so I went back to the carb/choke cleaner. This time I soaked a bit of a paper towel and dripped it into the shaft hole. This seems to loosen the glue inside nicely. Number 2 only took a few minutes of prying and only a small amount of blood shed.

Yep the carb choke cleaner works well. But it DOES eat the plastic. That's why I went the route with dripping it in the hole with the paper towel.

Anyone ever been offroading in Coaldale PA? A friend of mine posted a video of him offroading there and from Google Maps it looks like there are some trails through the woods. Whether it is legal or not, I have no idea.

Used the 3M Heavy-Duty Headight Restoration Kit on the truck today. Worked pretty darn well.
Only problem I have now is that I can clearly see condensation in the passenger side light...

Wow that looks great! What a difference. Hopefully the butyl rubber seal between the lens and the housing is still intact. Try sealing up the rubber boot around the back of the headlight bulb better. If that takes care of the condensation, then great. If not, the butyl might be compromised. The retrofits I built have condensation issues. I have to rip em apart again soon. Especially so since i broke the one lens on the trail

Throw some of those silica gel packs in the headlight after you reseal it. I've heard that works too

Gonna see if I can get em sealed up. That's what I get for buying second hand lights. If that doesn't work, I'll hit you up @skatefreak282 .
