What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Saw this sitting on the lot at my local dealer as I drove by, so I had to pull in. I'm in love with this new Voodoo Blue color. Looks badass. I wish they offered it on the TRD Sport and Offroad.

What I am not fond of is the $55k price tag on a FREAKING Tacoma. It's a midsize truck and there isn't that much more to it than the TRD Offroad. I love the look and style of the TRD Pro, but that price is just ridiculous. Not to mention the Snorkel should be an option, not a standard feature IMO.

Installed some TAC pocket style fender flares last night. I had Line-X spray them the day before. I'm pretty happy how they turned out and 95% of my tires are covered now.

 

I would not want that elephant trunk on my truck either. lol

How much of the $55k was some sort of "straight dealer profit" type of fee? I thought pros were going in the low-mid 40s. Wait until next model year. If Toyota follows what they've been doing, that blue will be available on the OR and Sport next model year.

 

You mean the "Desert Air Intake"? It is an option on the Pro, not standard.

Yuup! I was wrong. It's not standard lol My bad guys! I was misinformed. Just went to the Toyota Build and Price and it's a $725 add-on.
