Make a list of what you absolutely need to have. For me it was V6, 6 ft bed, Bluetooth, and back up camera. The 2019 SR had all of those, anything more was just going to cost more and wasn't on my must have list.

I swear I could build a 2019 SR V6 Access cab with the SX package a few week ago. Today it just defaults to a 4x4 if you choose a v6 option. I am on Toyota site now.

With the utility package the truck comes already blacked out. Besides the black beard on the front, the door handles, mirrors, and rear bumper end caps are black. Inside all that is chrome is the Toyota badge on the steering wheel and the chrome around the cup holder behind the shifter.

Yeah they are sitting in my living room. The guy forgot to put the lug nuts in the box so I have to wait on them. Have a appointment next Wednesday afternoon to get the wheels mounted.

The wheels don't have a scratch on them. I am happy about that.

I too chose an SR (4cyl 2WD) DCSB because that's exactly enough truck for my needs. (I had small pickups back in the 80's, Toyota and Chevy, and they were just fine.) The SR has just enough tech that meets my audio and cell phone needs. Convenience package, all weather mats and sill protectors. I plan on adding tonneau cover, trailer hitch and maybe someday fog light kit, all things I can easily do myself for a lot less than getting those in a package upgrade with other things I don't want.

The SR Utility has more than what I need. I paid cash for it. I can have any model Tacoma and I bought the one I want. F4A5D2D0-CCF1-47D9-A0BA-EEE7ADE71F49.jpg
Here she sits today. One year after purchase with 20,000 miles. Perfect.
Here’s the interior, classed-up with leather seat covers. BED9CCCB-9DF2-4DE4-9711-38127BB273B3.jpg

And, the 2.7 liter engine coupled with the 5 speed MT is the perfect match. E8772F1E-14A3-4F15-A431-5AA609A8B2A8.jpg

So the utility package doesn't allow one to add the convenience package which comes with keyless. Does that mean you have to use the key to open?

    Thanks again,

Yes, key is needed to open. Doors can be locked with the power lock button on the doors, or with the key. It hasn't been a problem for me. I understand you can add a keyless system.

Too be serious, I never lock my doors anyways. In SoCal, if they want your stuff, they will get it. Why waste a broken glass.

    Too few to list.
I got a Viper Alarm installed with a lifetime warranty all for $185. No issues with the viper remote unlocking and locking the doors.

Me neither once I got use to walking up to the driver door to unlock the passenger door to put my laundry in the front passenger seat. Or groceries.

Here's a tip. Turn the key to the right, twice and with the second turn the passenger door will unlock. No need to open the driver's door to unlock the passenger door. Just in case you didn't already know that.

He's correct but I like them, easy to take off if needed and just the look I was going for
