Does anyone know which one it is? It's the wire where if you get close enough to the cab with your fob, the interior lights fade on, then fade off when you walk ~10 ft away.

I want to use it as an external trigger on Switch Pro where my rock lights kick on when the key fob is close enough .

Isnt that feature controlled through the head unit?? Not sure I would want to mess with that circuit after some of the things I have read regarding tapping the rear view mirror, some light, and other power items. The truck is very sensitive to voltages that go through the ecus. I am curious to know if it can be done also, not trying to rain on the parade.
    Maybe @mesojdm has a answer.

It's a wire in the driver side A-pillar... Cant remember off the top of my head but it's a switched ground that goes to the dome lights... It's either blue or yellow iirc

Quite possible it's controlled via the head unit, but that is simply where to configure it. I've read somewhere it's controlled at one of the two modules, left of the steering wheel. I understand the sensitivity of the electronics, but I'm not that dude who tries to push 15amps over a 6' 24g wire. All I need is a low volt signal as a trigger, and the switch pro will power the accessory. Similarly, I used the other SP remote trigger wire to power my rear facing rack spots when I shift into reverse.... and that was done by tapping into the tiny wire for the "R" backlight at the shifter.
I don't think SP will be able to fade on/off, because it senses either I/O. But kicking on when I approach the rig will be cool with me. But I also don't want them kicking on anytime the døme light is on..

I'm familiar with that one. I'm trying to avoid them kicking on every time the dome light turns on. I only want them to turn on when it senses the fob, and there is a way to do that, but I can't remember for the life of me how it was done

Sometimes this feature works but sometimes not. Not sure if thier is a procedure for it to work. Alot of the time, im already unlocking vehicle so auto on, but did notice a few times it lit up as i approached but many other times, it does nothing

Is the blue wire hooked to the negative wire on the LED lights and the yellow hooked to the + wire on the LED lights
or is it the other way around? I haven't had any luck searching this site.
I am going to attempt to build my own setup.
    Thanks

Using a Faded Lighting Circuit as a trigger has a weird affect on relays (and I would strongly suggest using a relay). An electronic relay might work better than a relay that has a standard coil.

Doesn't the dome light "always" come ON in this scenario?
