I think $300 something, Mat from OVT posted something months ago regarding new license cost. You can email him to be sure. support@ovtune.zendesk.com

I know this isn't the best place to post this, and it definitely won't help my self image... but I guess I am the only one that is this ignorant, so here goes.

Using the OVT programming instructions, I originally flashed my ECU with the V1.04 91 octane tune last year. It was so incredible, that when I heard of the extensive works done for V1.05, I couldn't WAIT to GET it!
But there is where my excitement has stalled. And with it, any intellect I had - evidently.

I cannot figure out how to get the flash programs to work! I realize that some of the stuff done originally doesn't require "re-doing" - now/since I already registered my ECU and therefore got whatever "key" is required to allow updates. But even after reading the instructions (V4.2) and trying desperately for hours, I still cannot figure out how to ID or Flash the ECU, this time around. I am unsure where to "jump in" to the instructions, in order to get the flash software to work. I am lost and/or confused. Has anyone written a step-by-step that applies for the SECOND TIME you flash your ECU maps?

Yes - I am embarrassed. But I am also desperate to get it done.

Do you have the dongle version or not?
You should just jump in where you select your file and then write.
You don't have to re-identify or read.

Same as the first time. No need to read. Just select your file and write to your ECU.

Not sure where you mean. Like when the dealer reads the ECU version? No, it will stay as is.

So 1.05 is ready just needs to be released? I don’t keep up with the AT thread, but if anyone knows, is 1.05 out and about for our non TSB updated ecu’s?

Yes, most of the ECU versions have been released for AT. Not 2019 or MT yet. Go over to the other thread (alpha one). Dongle versions, there is a download link, dongle-less, you should have gotten and email.
