Voodoo blue is a hideous color. I'm not sure what Toyota was thinking when they replaced calvary on the Pro. It kind of looks like a color that Paul Walker types would have sprayed on their 1996 Eclipse at MAACO.

6mt Pros are hard to come by but not impossible... quite a few available in Voodoo Blue, Super White and Midnight Black if you are willing to take one with a DAI. Installed. Not a Unicorn by any means. My Voodoo Blue 6mt will be here in February. I ordered it October 9th.
Yes I have seen them on several occasions for between$500 and $2k below MSRP... just depends on the region... Do Not plan on getting a deal like that in CA, NY, FL or anywhere like that though...

I have to agree. It looks like a "cartoon" color. If I would not have gotten my Cavalry Blue, I would have gotten one of the two other "colors".

Agreed. I had to travel a bit for a 2018 pro last month but got it for $1500 under MSRP.

I saw a Voodoo Blue sitting at the dealer the other day and can’t say I hated it at all.

In regards to availability, just work all your local dealers. They’ll try to fill you full of shit, but they have allocations and available ones in the region they can trade for. In my case, I had to wait two months but got under MSRP but had over MSRP options if I wasn’t patient.

    Cliffs: Patience is key.

1 of 33 is limited production 1 of 5000 is not...they only say that to drive the price up turn the dealership into a auction house selling it to the highest bidder with the pro being the highest trim level it’s just a marketing gimmick.

Well some would argue since there will be nearly 200,000 Tacomas built in 2019 (estimating based on previous years), then 5,000 Pro Models is indeed a "Limited Production" I mean in reality, that means only 2.5% will be TRD Pros... So, that is by definition a Limited Production...

True it isn't AS limited as say 33... but it is Limited none the less...

Resale on used 2017 and 2018’s looks pretty good to me, so the gimmick is working.

As a car guy, I completely agree that they’re not limited especially since they’re not numbered BUT they’re clearly not a dime a dozen on the lots.

That’s true...but people associate limited production with rare and that’s something the Pro is not. The question is will the pro fetch a higher % resale value than all the other trim levels because of “limited production”.

Dealer here in Brewer Maine ordered a Voodoo Pro, custom built for a customer, loaded with other add-ons. When it came in, it was an Auto, customer wanted Manual. So, now it sits there, weeping, as no one wants it. If I didn't passionately hate the autos, I'd have owned it by now. But.... 6MT all the way.

I think the pro will be have a slightly higher resale than OR or sport but definitely not enough to offset the price difference between the models. Just my opinion with no evidence to back it up. If you are buying the truck with intent to flip it in a few years because the pro will pull a higher resale value you may be disappointed

I purchased my Calvary Blue last January from my local dealer which I drive by everyday and did not see another Tacoma TRD Pro (4 runner yes) for the rest of the year. The 2019s Pros came out and from October to December I have seen 1 black, 1 white and 2 Voodoo.

Funny thing the dealers in So Cal charge more of a market adjustment this year when they are appear less rare.

But I still love my Pro.

It looks amazing. If the pro here was a Manual, I'd own it by now. Love my BBP

I got my white 2019 TRD Pro 3K under MSRP. I waited a month for the truck to come in. I thought it might never happened. Best truck EVER! Had a 2000 Tacoma SR5 Prerunner before this truck. Tacoma’s are the best!

I guess i was lucky, my local leadership had 3 pros in stock. 2 voodoo and 1 white.
I test drove the white and bought a voodoo.
They were all sold in less than 2 weeks.
So I traded my 16 sr5 mgm to 19 trd pro.
