19 off-road cement dcsb only upgrades were premium floor mats and door sill protection. Bought a 100,000 72 month warranty for $1900. Out the door with taxes and tags. $36,300. I traded in a car and lost majority of the taxes. Not sure if I should of even bought a warranty?

My experience with Toyota cars and SUVs (haven't owned a Toyota pickup since the '80s) is that any issues came up after 100K or 125K miles. But, many people want the peace of mind a warranty can give, especially if you beast on your rides.

You can decide that you don't want the warranty and can give it up. But you won't get money refunded, you'll get the cost credited on your finance loan.

People are getting pretty good prices. I'll haveto go ask at the local dealership. I'm not really in the market right now. Give me two years and I'll be looking then. I just need to come up with $30K by then. I will probably get a DC LB auto sport which is what I have now(08). Maybe they will have a redesign Tundra by then, who knows, it may not fit in my garage though.

Fully loaded meaning 4X4 with Premium and Tech? If that's the case this is an epic deal.

Do you think I should cancel out the extended warranty? Don’t know much about the 3rd gen taco yet.

That's your own personal decision to make after you do some more research.
But the 3rd gen's already been around for what, 5 years? So the chances are you won't suffer any surprises that people didn't see coming like maybe with a first year model.
I was offered the 100K warranty when I bought on Black Friday weekend. F&I guy said they were having a BF weekend special, the warranty was regularly priced at $2300 but offered it to me for $1500.
I declined because I won't be off-roading, and I don't think I'll put more than 10K miles on each year.
    And I'm also cheap.

"Special", lol. Their actual cost is around $800. He was still making almost 100% profit. Also extended warranty can be purchased anytime before factory one runs out.

Oh, I know they're full of it. Maybe my facial expression and slight laugh gave me away, because after I said no at $1500 I was expecting him to come back with a- "I can offer you a one-time only price of..." nor did he try to sell me anything else.

Looks like I will be picking a 2019 SR5 V6 AT Access Cab in white tomorrow. Will be mine third tacos (had 2012 dcsb v6 sr5 and then downgraded to a 2008 single cab 4 cyc).

For this generation, do people still use the stainless clamp (what size) to protect from tailgate theft? If so, do you use both sides?

What do y'all think about this offer from the dealer for a 2019 Toyota TRD 4x4 A/T Off Road:

MSRP with only the Tech Package...no other add ons: $38,330 ($37,560 + 770)
    Dealer offered $35,250 less the $1,000 rebate=$34,250
    Approx. 10.6% off MSRP

This was their first offer....might be able to price shop it or haggle a bit.

If that was their first offer I would keep going. Might as well have some fun with it!

I didn't accept this, because I was dealing with a bunch of a-holes, but here in central Cali this is the final offer I got from my local dealer.

2019 Tacoma Offroad, DCSB, 4x4 + Tech Package and predator steps.

$39,887 out the door to include taxes and fees

Still feel like it's too much so I'm searching elsewhere.

I agree, might as well try for more. But it seems that most good deals are around 10% off or a tiny bit more the sticker's MSRP. (Not a sticker with extra dealer add-ons)

You should be able to get them down a bit. Keep in mind though, deals in December were easier to come by than in Jan. Wait until end of month or better yet end of quarter. That's when they get more aggressive with discounts.
