3rd gen doesn't need one either. Ours dangles and you can hang it in the little door closure hook. #FakeNews

It makes the whole process less messy. Plus not scratching paint from just letting it hang.

Hey Rob, hsvent been in here in awhile, but keep wanting to ask about your front bumper, did you get the new one on, since last time I saw you the front got a little crunched at Green Ridge.

@RobP62 does auxbeam make a 30ish” bar for my lower valence? Picked up some rigid brackets for $30 the other day and need to start looking at a budget bar.

Edit: more or less do you have one or just the 50” on the roof? I’m sure they make one.

    Adam,
My light bars are listed on the Auxbeam site as a 32" and a 42" inch. That includes the brackets that come with them. Without the brackets they are 30" and 40" respectively. The 32" is the perfect width for the lower part of the grill or most armor bumpers with the cutout.

I adjusted my 32" bar up a little more the other night at the local Walmart, in the back where there was no lighting. Holy cow!! Now the light coverage is from directly in front of the truck to coon huntin' height!! I can honestly run down the road with just that light bar on, no other lights, it total darkness. It seems to have increased the peripheral coverage as well.

    https://www.auxbeam.com/5d-series-combo-projector-lens-cree-led-light-bar

I mean this thing is $55 bucks now!!!!! And it comes with the wiring, including the fuse, relay and a switch. You just need to connect the wires to the light bar (I soldered in weatherproof connectors) and connect the wires to the battery. Or you can remove their switch and wire in a CH4x4 OEM looking switch. That's what I ultimately plan on doing.

Also, Auxbeam has excellent customer service. Somehow the roof light bar got a crack in the lens. I suppose a rock on the road. Maybe stress from my cheapo mounting brackets vibrating, they sent me a new light bar. Their warranty is excellent. They also ship from the US.

I definitely recommend Auxbeam. I have 4 pods on the tractor roof for night time snow removal operations. They are going on 4 years now. I think I got them off Amazon for like 25 bucks back then. LOL

Sorry Brian, not me, maybe @pdenajim like Randall said. Who I intend NOT to follow through any trails. That guy just looks for trouble! He's not happy unless he is breaking a mirror or something off another guys truck on the trail.

    :D

Seriously though, I'd follow Randy anywhere.

    NOT! o_O

Oddly, there are anti-gasshole members that will argue with you till the cows come home that this is never an issue.

I think some people are just the types that like to argue.
