Official 2018 NCAA Football Thread

A Sports writer in Atlanta today stated in the article that Kirby Smart made 7 million this year. He also stated in the same article that 7 million does NOT buy what it used to.

That almost sounds like a personal dig directed at Smart. Kirby has definitely shown a different side of himself since leaving Bama.....some good some bad

 

Meh, when it comes down to it, outside of Bama and Clemson, there is a fare amount of jealousy fueled hatred. I like it

 

Sure. I dont have an jealousy as it's not me doing any of the work whatsoever to get any of the teams to where they are, like I literally have 0 effect on that. Fans on the other hand have 100 percent effect on the folks around them and through my experiences a certain fanbase sucks ass to live around lol

Nah. Bama by 12.

I base that on very little. Bama played 7 S&P+ top-20 teams and beat them by an average of 22 points. Clemson played in the ACC, so they played zero S&P+ top-20 teams during conference play, and played two otherwise: TAMU (won by 2) and ND (won by 27).

Obviously Clemson won both of those, but Bama is more tested and the teams are otherwise very close.

Plus... these Crimson glasses are thick.

 

LSU usually doesn't either. Cole Tracy was crazy good this year, I hope the new kid is too.

I've been saying for years... Bama should go after whoever auburn and La State had 2nd on their lists.

I try to never do predictions other than "I think this team will win" and I don't even really like doing that lol
