Arklatex was able to be listed as a sponsor by promising to volunteer a certain amount of slots in 2017. Louisiana Land Krewers has been a sponsor for years by providing dinner for everyone on Friday.

Email the committee now and see what kind of deal you can work out. @tgormtx @cooper4x4 @peters4135 are involved people but you'd get a better response from the email listed on the website

Another option that I've seen BakesFJ do is just provide swag for the driver's bag, maybe a giveaway to your members for a free registration

Yep, I will prob be helping out with Arklatex and volunteering my time, as well as doing some trail leading this year on some easy trails for new people to the event.

Was going to say that I will be wilderness first aid and possibly wilderness first responder certified by then if they cared, but they will have EMS there anyways.

Yea, I know. Too busy right now, so hopefully will be able to after the 19th of Jan, or in Feb more than likely.

Wouldn't have it any other way.

Someone has to pick up my slack. And they probably wouldn't let you advertise that you are first aid due to insurance reasons, they have the EMT as the primary responder even when you have nurses and medics that are all over the park but they might have been drinking.

Figured as much, I guess if something happens, then I will just stand back and observe while waiting for their medic to arrive if you are even able to get ahold of them...

tbh, I have actually never seen the EMT on site...

    Never early enough!

I still use the one I made like 2 years ago and just update it here and there as I change gear or what not.

He hangs out by the main pavilion most of the time, usually behind the raffle stuff.

I’ve met him several times. He exists, but can’t be everywhere at once.

Having the skills and equipment to provide quality medical treatment at the point of injury will always increase the chance of a positive outcome for the patient.
