How about if someone wants something to be posted on the op in an index or a link, they have to put together the info and pm you or tag you. Then you just have to copy and paste. Make it as easy as possible for the OP

a pic of my prototype. it will look a little different but not much. bottom will be a drawer and the top a ‘bin’ with dividers.

i mocked it up with a cheap piece of plywood so i have less opportunity to make mistakes when i’m cutting the good stuff.

and, i found a couple of areas i want to do a bit differently.

it was a fun exercise doing everything in the dark with work lights. it warmed up to about 30 or so...79E2C3F4-50F9-4532-ABD3-64930D03C97A.jpg

I'm going to get a propane jobby soon. There is a small woodstove that I haven't fired up yet - it's not been 'that' cold yet. :)

Take him a burrito (or in my case Ramen) - he'll love you forever. Congrats on delivery!

@ace7196 How are you mounting those MaxTrax in your bed? Are those mounted to the bed rail?

I might be sleepy, since I just woke up. But the GFC is all Aluminum. Except for the interior 1.5” tubing. Not sure how this application would work? Nice looking shop/ Connex box though.

Thanks for recreating the thread. I have not done anything too original. Mainly copied or did variations on other people’s ideas.

I like having everything packed up inside the shell. I will not bolt things all over the outside or roof. I didn’t do a drawer system because of weight.

I added some tailgate seal to the space frame for the hatch. The lower hatch used to have a small gap.

Other changes include two cargo nets for more high and light storage and using the square panel straps for the back net to keep pillows and sleeping bags from falling down on bumpy roads.

I tinted the rear hatch window, no pics. Just imagine it darker.

I added cord and mitten hooks for automatically rolling up the rear window as it is opened.

May as well add traction board storage, L-track, lighting and electrical pics too. Not pictured, silicon under the bed rails and tailgate seal.

I strung paracord all around the d rings i installed in the top of the space frame. Makes a nice cloths line for hanging or drying gear.

Thanks for coming over. Looks like yours is sealed up tight from those dust lines. Nice!

That’s a nice container! Can you share some more information about it? I’ve been researching them. I want to get one when I eventually buy a remote property.

    Hey Ace,

Do you have The .stl for those Jammers you would be willing to part with? If you’ve already posted it I just can’t find it. Much appreciated!

I’d love to just see a rough sketch of the dimensions. I won’t be 3D printing any but making them out of the appropriate thickness gasket material. So thickness is a critica demension for me. I have quite a few choices there.
