Meh, why not. What difference does it make if you scratch and dent those or the factory ones...it's only money. If I'm taking my $35k truck off-road, I'm not worried about the $250 (Each) wheel.

I agree (except about it only being money, mainly because I don't have any disposable cash). But if you do have the financial means and If you can just go get another set of wheels easily or just one to replace a damaged one then the concern is far less for sure.

Some guys don't care what their truck looks like and consider trail damage "battle scars to be proud of". I applaud them. On the other hand, if someone wants to keep their truck looking new I would never criticize or look down my nose on them. To each their own.

Also, it's somewhat easy to protect your truck from trail damage with armor. Wheels are just out there, and a simple mud puddle with gravel in it or a gentle rock garden can wreak havoc on a custom set of wheels. Some wheels just aren't designed for off road use. Those spokes on the previously posted wheels would be the first I've ever seen like that off road. But, there is always the first for everything.

I by NO MEANS have disposable income...especially now that I bought a truck. I personally want my truck to look new forever, but not everyone cares like you said.

Yea, I mean I have those Copper Ray 10's and it drives me nuts worrying so I stopped. I wished I had kept the stock wheels. It takes me about an hour to switch them out. I am considering getting steelies or some other cheap set of wheels I can use off road. Or I could just not care. But my inner OCD self hates that thought.

I just picked up all three aluminum skid plates for the undercarriage and I just installed sliders to protect the sides/rockers.

I am definitely getting this truck off road this year. It will be 2 in June. It is time.

When she was 13 days new. NW of Fort Collins, Colorado. Earlier this year. She surrrre was lookin purty that day. The inferno complements the ponderosa pine wonderfully.

This is the kind of stuff that makes me not take my truck anywhere I cant keep an eye on it. I have a dash cam, but its turns off with the truck. Planning on getting getting some side ones eventually along with a always on relay.

Bought some dash letters. I think it looks pretty good with the trim.

When you park a mile away, and someone parks right next to you.. thats me.

I will park near other nice new cars that are far away because I know they wont open their doors into my truck.

But, funny story, my wife hates when we take my truck because we have to park so far away from everything.
