Beautiful. I wonder how the carbon fiber version would look, especially when matched with the carbon fiber vent rings that Tufskinz offers.

The PC with everything was worth about 1200 and he really hooked me up because he already got another rack for himself and he was looking for a gaming PC. Not going the lie the guy was actually pretty cool and he helped someone else in the taco community

You'll be pissed that you waited so long to do such an easy task (the meso signals). It takes maybe 10 minutes to change out from the chrome ones to the smoked ones, and worth every second!

    Tonneau looks great!

Thanks! I was already pissed I waited so long to tackle the tonneau installation (bought it 2 months ago), but my work schedule always has me out of town and I was away for the holidays. I have the Meso switchback turn signals, so hopefully that means 15mins instead of 10 :fingerscrossed:

Getting Ready to do my first, was there a need to drop the skid?

Def if you are adding a fumoto. To me it looks like the oil may splatter inside the skid at least until your hand and wrench are out of the way. That is why I added the fumoto so from now on no dropping skid and no splatter. This was the first oil change done by me so I really don't know if you can access the drain plug by reaching around the skid. If so then less chance of splatter. Accessing the drain straight up through the hole in the skid is probably going to make a mess inside the skid.

Related question... How do you open/close the Fumoto valve? By reaching around the skid?

No the drain hole in the skid is large enough to get your hands in to open it. I made sure BEFORE bolting the skid back on. No issue at all. I do have long skinny fingers but I think there is plenty of room. It will help sticking a hose on it to keep oil off your hand. My truck is rwd but I strongly suggest putting a cap on, at least the long nipple version, for anyone off-roading to keep mud from packing that drain hole in the valve.

    Ah. Thanks!

I figured, worst case, I'd have to bend up a wire hangar to reach up through the hole and get a hold of the valve tab.

Thank you for your detailed observation. I’m very pleased with the leather seats. Definitely changes the interior of your truck.

I know someone here replaced the handbrake leather to real leather.

I’m thinking about replacing the rubber like door panel insets to real leather. Preferably perforated also.

Very nice on the interior of your truck btw. Yeah I heard the “leather” that comes stock on our trucks isn’t real leather..

So the oil filter is not hid by the skid plate then?

No it has an access cover plate that you remove to get the filter done.

Katzkins are nice. For me, with access cab only needing front covers, I just could not beat the $274 I paid for the Clazzio. I like the option of removing them and exposing nice clean factory seats if I ever decide to sell it. I bought a 1964 Impala 2 door back in the 80's from my wifes grandparents. Only had 60k original miles. I got in it one day with a damn screwdriver in my pocket. Put a nice rip in the seat. My father in law told me the car had factory seat covers. He was right. I took off the factory seat covers and had pristine cloth seats in that 20 year old car. That swayed my decision to go with Clazzio covers. Another thing is Clazzio sells replacements for the back or bottom so if I mess up something I do not have to buy the complete set. Only what was damaged.
