Didn't apple just get outed for secretly programming their iphones to kill the battery in a year or so just in time for the next iphone?

 

LG phones have that issue. Boot Loop. Mine does it, my friends did it. I just deal with it until I can get rid of this phone. Moto is what I had before, and what Ill get next.

I used my uncles hand me down iPhone 5 as a phone up until like last month, it’s seen better days. Now I just use it as an iPod.

Damn dude, you should fix the screen. Get a digitizer kit off Amazon. Takes like half an hour to do yourself.

What phone do you use now?

 

I switched from a long time apple user to a pixel 2 and I can't see me getting another iPhone. The whole battery scandal was enough for me. And the constant updates I had to do with apple was rediculous. Haven't had to do anything to my phone and I've had it at least half a year.

 

yup, a tactic known as 'programmed obsolescence' that a lot of companies do nowadays especially with electronics...keeps the customer coming back for more. Can't build something so reliable that they only have to buy it once, have to keep them on the hook for more $$$

I don't feel like typing up the whole saga but my Nexus 5X broke under warranty. LG said I would have it back in less than 10 days, it ended up being about 10 weeks after LG lost my phone for 2 months claiming it was never delivered.

 

I went through AT&T’s insurance program. One day my iPhone 6 crapped itself, and I got a brand new iPhone 6s in the mail two days later.

 

That should be at the end of every voice recorded phone menu after making a caller pick 10 different choices
