That said, why bedliner on skids? Seems like a waste of money?

I was wondering the same thing. I’m a satin black spray paint man myself.

Yes, especially after you drag it across a couple rocks.

I am assuming here, for traction if you happen to use it as a step?

Skids are under the truck, that was the joke/point. It was a miss understanding initially by Naveronski - he read sliders- which was kinda funny cause I was thinking the same thing.

The bed liner paint is definitely more durable, and less likely to come off during minor abrasions. I paid $40 for a gallon. I expect the remainder to last a long time doing touch ups. I've seen this stuff in person and it really is a nice coating.

Back your original post though before shit went off the rails...........o_O No thanks to Randy or Kris o_O

    :D

But seriously, we use them as steps every time we get in or out of the truck. We are short. These came powder coated with a super grippy type of powder coat (I've never seen it this grippy) and the other night in the rain in my sneaks I had no slippage at all. I could see it being a problem if you slide your leg against them though, but we haven't yet. They are the perfect height and I suppose having them at Zero Degrees is what makes them an excellent step for us. I suppose taller people might find it an issue.

Gotcha. Sounds like it fits your situation pretty well. I’m taller, and as you said, I scrape my leg along them more often than I’d like to admit.

Yea, I’m a poser and don’t do any real off-roading. I use my sliders as steps when I’m washing the roof of my truck and I have bed liner on them. Their real purpose is to protect my truck from door dings from parking in DC every day and they do that wonderfully.

The mobtown bumper I ordered is just to make me look cool.

Nothing wrong with posing or looking cool! Someone has to do it. I don't mind being the one.

@Mobtown Offroad do y’all have updated wait times? I saw something like 4-10 weeks when I first ordered but I’m pretty sure that wait time was going to go way up lmao. I’m not looking for an exact date, just a guesstimate if possible. March? April?

    Thanks! Can’t wait
