Here she sits after a few more exterior mods. Hunter Bully Bar, AVS deflector (I know some of you hate them - Im not completely sold myself yet), Yellow fogs, Stepsides, Extang Trifecta Tonneau, Satoshi. Going to do K&N CAI this fall and will be changing the tires to Nitto Terra Grapplers once I hit about 30K (likley Sept-Oct at the rate Im going - I have a company truck so the miles stay low on the Taco)

Nice. Everyone knows IRP is, in fact, the best color. It's scientifically proven.

Personally, the only thing I'd do different is paint the center caps black instead of red.

    QFTMFT.

Looks like a sharp truck. I agree with the center cap statement though.

The first car I ever owned was this a 1989 Pontiac Grand Prix (Almost the same exact color as my Tacoma) and it had full color matched red wheels. So part of me loves that , and thats why I did it. Part of me also likes the "look at me" factor i guess. However I did recently buy a set of 4 used center caps on ebay to paint up black for a change. My old man has been giving me shit about the red caps for 2 years (of course he loves chrome and I think chrome is gay so we obviously have differing tastes). Ill probably change the center caps to black. when I do the new tires. We'll see how I like that and run the black for a while then probably back to red.

This is a base 4x4 so It didnt have fogs (despite the fact that is was fully wired for fogs and had the relay in place already). I just had to plug and play the lamps and the dash switch. The fogs are Yellow Lens Aftermarket OE replacements from EBAY. They were less than $100 in Feb from the seller Neondials I think. They work great and put off great light.

Lookin' pretty good. But I'd go without the color hubcaps and the thick pinstripe down the side personally. Just my .02 though.

Alright, Like i said I had another set of center caps waiting to paint black and put on. I went ahead and pulled the trigger on the Nitto Terra Grapplers 265/70/r16 because I have a new baby and Im not going to push the stock "meltaway" tires and have a blowout. So when I had the tires put on I changed out the caps. I dont think I like the black as much as the red. I think it takes away some of the personality but Ill run it like this for a while. So here are some updates, especially for the guys that didnt like the red caps.

a little red would be fine on the caps but they're too big to paint completely red. i think it draws too much attention to your rims.

I'm very much a fan of the black centercaps over the impulse red!
