I found replacement thumbsticks online for my old N64, so I fixed up a couple of my old controllers with new thumbsticks and I've been playing Perfect Dark, Goldeneye, and Jet Force Gemini lately

I need to find my Mario Kart cartridge and see if I can get some old high school friends together for a vintage game night. There were 6-7 of us that used to spend hours on a Friday night playing Mario Kart and Goldeneye (4-way pistols/license to kill/Temple) when I was in HS. Winner got rotated out.

I only played N64 (if any video games at all). I stopped after Xbox/Halo 2 and went backwards. It’s just me with the occasional Mario Kart race against the wife, but let’s face it, she’s terrible

I had a weird progression; I had a Sega Genesis in the mid-90's until I upgraded to the N64. Then I didn't get another gaming system until somebody gave me their old Gamecube and PS2 in 2008 or so. Then the GF gave me an Xbox for christmas one year but all of the games I tried on it kicked my ass so I went back to the older consoles and just used the Xbox for netflix until I got an Amazon Firestick. Now it's plugged in to the downstairs TV but all it really does is play DVD's and the occasional round of Madden

I have an Xbox One and play some battlefield or madden sometimes... maybe once a week after everyone has gone to bed... mainly use it to stream everything since we don't have cable.

We also don't have cable, but I got sick of paying microsoft a fee for internet access. I already had Amazon Prime anyway, so buying a firestick and streaming through that instead was a no-brainer.

1st time posting here. 1984 was prime to be born!!

I had a semi mid life crisis. Drove my 96 4runner last 8 plus years and loved it. Wife got her DC Tacoma few years back and I felt left out. Before my 4runner I had built up multiple older 400whp turbo AWD Mitsubishis and missed the power.

Wife said must be family car and $15k budget. So had to be 4 doors and she wanted some luxury since all we drove are trucks and Toyota SUVs.

    I wanted v8, 400hp, 6 speed, rwd. Add 4 doors and luxury.

In comes the 4 door zo6. Or 1st gen CTS-V.

I played a lot of tony hawk 2 and 4 in college.

    :anonymous:

A little grand turismo, halo, tekken

Never really played before that and havent really played video games since. Had a couple roommates that were really into it so I did it too. Good times.

Now my kids want some kind of console. Thinking about a wii.

I've thought about trying brewing beer. I do videography as a side gig/fun. Try to stay active with about anything outdoors. Would like to buy me another motorcycle

I think I need a hobby. I rarely play video games these days. Last couple games I've played was Borderlands 2, and MK XL. I used to enjoy building computers, but I don't use them much anymore either since almost anything can be done from a smart phone now. Recently dumped the gf, so I'm finding myself with extra time and no motivation.

My motivation has hit the crapper the last couple of months as well. Usually winter months tend to do that to me .
