Yea, I was making due with the way things were but part of me knew there was a better way. I talked to the man and shot him the idea, how to secure it behind the vertical metal member and then attach with the screw. He was "sure, I could make that". The rest, as they say, is history. I had nothing to do with the name however.

 

well first it was the rims and then it was the body lift with the extended splash guards lol lately I have really been wanting some sliders lol and I want the rims and bigger tires lol too many choices

 

well I ordered some new body mount bushings and rad mount bushings. at least I can cross one thing off the list!

 

Slightly crunched front bumper at Green Ridge was me. All good now. SOS Streamline Bumper installed with 12k winch.

I am facing the same dilemma. My current set of tires will be toast by next fall. I will need to decide if I am keeping 265's or going up to 285's.

It doesn't help that my 4.5 year old falls for every commercial he hears or sees hook, line, and sinker. He told me the other day, "Dad, we need to go to Big O (the local tire store chain)", I asked him why. He responds, "Because the truck needs bigger tires!" And proceeds to tell me they can put them on and my current tires are too small and he doesn't like them!

Which ever route I go though, I'm putting my 17" Moto Metals back on!

Here is what mine looked like the first time I had 285's on and 3" lift...should have never changed it.



Then I went back to stock height and 265's.
