yep....mobil1 is fine, and you can do 5k oil changes now...the synthetic gives you a little prolonged oil change.

If you really want to make changing your oil a breeze, pick up one of these bad boys. You wont spill a drop....

I had a friend that had one of those, and it was knocked off when off roading. Made for a short off road trip. If you do any wheeling near rocks, stick with the regular drain plug. It doesnt take much time out of your oil change.

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend one of these for off roaders, but for those of us that stay on the pavement they are pretty nice :D

The one that fits our trucks is the F-103, or if you want the one with the nipple then you'll need the F-103-N.

I've got the drain valve (don't really off-road, but it looks protected by a crossmember if I wanted to...?) and use Mobil-1. With the filter being located up high, the Tacoma is the easiest oil change I've ever done :D
Invest in a quality filter, too. I used to always use Fram, but have heard some bad news about them lately. So far, only Mobil-1 filters on the Tacoma...

Well.......I am going to start doing mine after Thursday. Since I am going to have the dealer do it. And I know they are going to give me hell about my ride. They seem to do that when I make changes.
OK NOW fill me in, Mobil 1 oil, what grade??, and filter what type??
