Well I guess it’s that time of year again. Headed down to tex ass next week to do another oil change on a crane. I admire their loyalty but they are some dumb mother truckers.

Racing truly is a sport where you need money to break into it even if you have all the skill

Been there done that! Built/worked on the race trucks and prerunner back in the day.

The cheapest part of desert racing is buying the racecar.

Want to make millions racing, start with billions.

Cmon now. I’ve been around long enough. I know you can stuff 35s stock. With no rubbing. It was a shipping question.

I paid $1.869 on 12/29 in Longmont. The trick is to fill up when you're outside of Denver/Boulder/etc.

I split $114/mo Gigabit internet with my housemate and neighbour. I was working from home almost exclusively last year but now my company pays for a desk in a coworking space, so now I just like streaming lots of desert racing content outside work hours :turtleride:

Also, what's the most and least you have ever paid for a gallon of gas?

Most: $5.99/gal (in my truck) at Panamint Springs in Death Valley and something over $7/gallon for my motorcycle on the California coast

Least: About 89¢/gallon when I first started driving
