    I am not sure why you are saying "good spot to avoid" , but Pismo is a very good and fun spot. One of my favorite spots given that you don't go on a busy holiday weekend. If you want to have fun go deep in the dunes, not just by the beach because it does get crowded there.

    hahah...it sure does. I didn't know about the deleted stuff. But yeah it is a good spot. Just don't drink and drive (yes I did get DUI there) and remember speed limit on the beach is 15 mph and they enforce that strictly. Also, don't be an asshole and drive like a maniac near the campsites. Go deep in the dunes and go crazy! There is no quiet time so you can ride all night and day if you want, but just be respectful of other campers.

    I did learn something new today though... CVC 38310 is the 15mph limit within 50 feet of any campground, campsite, or concentration of people or animals .
    It seems common-sense, but I didn't know the specified speed was 15mph. :thumbsup:

    You have to realize that the area he was in for yrs has been known as a high speed area. But as they shrink pismo and not the aloud campers numbers areas are now becoming over taking by newbies that dont know the old ways. Hes right and wrong. IYKWIS
