Check the A/C, heater core drain if it stops up the water coming through the cowl vent will fill it up. Some of them are metal and some are plastic.
This one is on my 03, I see you have a 03 so it may be the same.

Also check to see if the trim peice on the door is installed properly. It can cause the weather stripping to deform and leak. Water will run down and across the kick panel and down the firewall.

I will check tomorrow, should I invest in a can of Felx seal? Always wondered if it worked

If the drain is stopped up it causes water to over flow, cleaning it out will fix it if that is what it is.
You should be able to run something up through the drain to get out what ever is blocking it or use compressed air.
If it is a seal it may be your windshield not really any other seal that I can think of at the top of the firewall.

Don't use any kind of sealer in the drains.

Can anyone recommend a shop/individual that can install my lift in the Birmingham Area. Assembled OME fronts, Headstrong AALs and OME shocks in the rear on a brand new truck. Fairly clean and easy. The trinity is getting the better of me right now. Work, school, and family.

Weighing the option of waiting a month to install or having it done next week.

We can get it installed for you without going to a shop

Worst case, Stay away from the 2 big name stores in the Pelham area. The only one with someone that is knowledgeable is The off-road connection in fultondale, though the owner is a Jeep guy.

If I'm seeing the picture right I had a similar leak coming from the grommet in the firewall. I used silicone caulk and it's been fine
