    For some reason my notifications for this thread got turned off! d’oh!

    Anyway, I wanted to follow up on one of my earlier posts regarding OVTune for 3rd gens. Just updated to his lastest version (1.05). Damn!! It’s a whole new truck. Responsiveness is amazing. Power all over the RPM band. Highway driving is fixed; holds 5th/6th easily. Rarely drops to 4th going up hills. I’m running the 93 octane tune.

    Hope that doesn’t sound like an ad! Just wanted to share with my fellow locals!

    Gotta do inspection this month. Front windows are tinted and it's probably borderline legal. I can probably get a medical form from my eye doctor but...does anyone know a place where they might not be too crazy in berk county? I know things are tougher now and when I brought my wifes car into the normal place earlier last year the first thing they did was check the tint.

    I have had good luck at H&S Auto in Pitts. I have tint on the fronts. They never ask. It is the legal limit.
    @Doogz or @skiergd011013 or @Riotfunk may have someone else they could recommend.

    I have tints that are 35 before glass so I think they’re not technically legal but I had no trouble at a local shop. It’s belchertown so I know it’s a drive but if you want the shop name, shoot me a PM.

    Is that really a thing? Honest question. Didn’t know that was possible

    Also when I had the tacoma inspected it was the first thing they checked at two places and they both said they would fail me if I didn’t remove it. My windows were 30 so just shy of legal but I brought the truck up from Florida

    Yeah there is a form to fill out and get signed by your doctor. These baby blues are sensitive :rofl:

    I actually was told by my eye doctor to always wear sunglasses basically unless it’s dark. I don’t, but I do honestly have a hard time in bright situations and whenever there is snow on the ground. I will start crying and can’t keep my eyes open.:bananadead:

    Yessir.

    I have to wear GOOD sunglasses, even when its cloudy. Eye water, headaches, and, if it is bright enough, it seems like K am losing color perception. Sunny after snow? Hell.
    Found this out years ago, while at sea.....

    This is good to know actually. I’ve had issues with my eyes since I had an incident overseas 8 years ago so now I have scar tissue in both eyes and severe light sensitivities
