I did the same thing when I got my Taco. I haven’t used crawl control yet but the fact that the off road comes with a rear locker sold me. Off road for the win!

I'd like to have some cool instaham picture of me flexing on a mountain top or eating a power lunch at Applebee's with a woman that looks like a 10 in soft focus, but all I did was take my waste oil from my 1st gen in, wash my truck, and send out an email bitching about assholes that seem to like to park in front of my garage.

Saw the sky blue letters and thought of George Strait's song, "Baby Blue." Now I cannot get the song out of my head! lol

Wish I was getting ready to see the Packer's in the Wildcard game instead of the Colts. :( If I were to put letters on my truck those are the ones I would choose. Being a Army Veteran probably has allot to do with that choice.

Me too, but they got to get their shit all in one place first. And I'm originally from Houston, so I at least get to see the Texans play and hopefully advance.
Thank you for serving then. Also, I would go with the raised inserts from Amazon, and I still might. I ordered these from Ebay, and they were advertised as being from Germany, but were actually sent from Moldova. They aren't bad, but the overlay material is opaque and it is VERY difficult to get the letters properly positioned. They are slightly off, although you have to be really close and looking to notice it. I think the raised vinyl inserts being thicker will probably be easier to position at least by feel.
I'll see how long these last, and I may end up heat gunning them off (especially if they don't hold up to North Texas weather) and ordering the heavier ones.
I like the pattern on this one (flat flag surface versus waving appearance) so I went with this one.

Got hit by a tourist skier last weekend and wrecked my back. Can’t go snow sliding so I took a few hours to install my Black Friday RCI IFS and mid skids today. Easy install once I washed all the salt off my truck.

Disclaimer I’m not a painter. My exhaust was new. Prep is important. Clean every part you want painted with TSB cleaner and steel wool. Can be found at Home Depot. Can’t stress the cleaning part, I missed a small section and the paint peeled right off. Luckily it’s a smal section under the truck by the spare tire. Primed with an etching primer. I used high heat black paint. I’ve put a couple hundred miles on it and no chipping yet.

Today I swapped my 4Runner trail wheels on, only to realize the tpms sensors are not compatible. :( so at some point I’ll need to hit up the tire shop and do a lot of swapping around. Also figured out 265/70-17 will most definitely rub with these wheels and spidertrax spacers. Double fail. I’ll look into maybe reshaping the mud flaps with the heat gun tomorrow. It doesn’t even look like a mild lift will cure the rub but I’ll investigate further tomorrow. The spacers may need to go. Also 86’d the front lower valance. I love the appearance but I’ve got to cure the rub.

It is the spacers. Same size tires on same wheels do not rub on mine. I do have 5100 shocks with front level at 0.65 setting. They barely rubbed mud flaps on original shocks at full lock.

Mine gave me the notification that I had to clean it the first few times of driving. Drove all day today and it did not pop up. I have the sensor plate but probably won’t install it now.

If you have the solid stock mud flaps then the fronts may need to go. I have the flexible rubber mud flaps. Those molded ones break easily. Could always add a cheap $50 spacer lift.
