I think I've seen that vid before, I guess I'll find out when I get the lights in it and installed. The oem bed lights are pretty weak but they do aim into the bed.

By the way did you get any kind of discount on the lights?? ....I thought that there was supposed to be a discount or or group buy then it was going to work as a package deal but that didn't happen.

 

I posted it back in September, but it’s buried on page 51.

I got mine as a complete package in May, in a non-cash deal.

Yeah I feel you, I thought it was this weekend (sat&sun) too. I just got lucky and happened to check about an hour after he posted and for once they were not completly gone! Is yours leaking? I bet of you personally messaged him and explained that yours is leaking he would probably hook you up under those circumstances. I'm pretty sure he did that for another member if I remember right.

I have not. As I continue to get the new BD model in production as well as more KC's,.. I am looking into sourcing the OEM brake connector.

To clear things up, I was never going to offer a "discount" on KC lights. I was just going to make them easier to order "add to cart" on my website.But I couldn't get the whole drop ship/website integration figured out so I just sold the housings by themselves. Taylor might be able to give a forum discount though

The one's that are out in the wild are randomly sent out to members so I can have a diversified testing audience and make sure every detail is buttoned up before the final design is launched. Some may have had leaky OEM brake lights, some haven't.

As much as I am a BD guy for life I would def run the KC one just to seal my cab back up from the elements.

I was asking on of the guys, beergeek who got your housing early if he got a deal on the leds. It was always clear that you were not selling the leds.

----Earlier on Taylor@KC HiLiTES had mentioned a group buy. It would be nice if he follows through with that.
