    For a warn I would say yes, if you go smittybilt I highly recommend at least 9.5. Ive used mine several times to recover people works well enough but its a little slow due to max load time or something like that. Warn is 100% duty cycle where mine is 80 I believe which is pull for 45 cool for 1 min for example.
    Also a good snatch block will double the pulling force.:thumbsup:

    For the money better going off with a smittybilt Ive seen the badlands quit after a light sprinkle in person. For a trailer or atv winch I think they are great where as SB is IP rated. I got mine with synthetic line shipped for like 300 during an ebay sale.
