You’re not old school, that’s the new school of thought to be offended by everything. Like I said I’m sure he’s a big boy and doesn’t need you defending him.

Sorry for having an opinion? Guess you missed my comment below that stated if he likes it’s thats all that matters. I don’t care if you’re 27 or 72, I’m gunna tell ya my thoughts regardless. Guess I’m ancent since I’m 31? Since when the fuck is 27 old school.

Hahaha okay buddy. I don’t know know the guy. I don’t feel like I’m trying to defend him. That’s not my intention. My point to my post was because I don’t understand why everybody is hating so much.

Haha you’re obviously not getting it. I posted that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Opinions are good. Telling someone their stuff is horrible looking just isn’t cool. You could have easily said “that’s not my style” which would have made you sound less like a jerk. I apologize for calling you a douche as well. I’m sure you’re probably a nice guy. Who knows?

You misread what I said about my age. I’m saying I’m only 27 bit I feel like I’m old school regarding how I treat others.

    Anyways. I’ll be done now.

You can paint the bezels, I painted all of them for my truck. Just carefully cut the clear lense off and go to town. I had to have everything match in my truck too.

I think if he posted the video and then wrote something of value then it would have been less harsh of a response by some. Boosting YouTube vids is corny.

If he wants people to tune in, just ask people to check out the channel. I agree it was pretty much a waste of viewing time.

I could have been tuning into Golden Girls and had a better time!

    All the things!
    100% agree.

I used to love watching YouTube videos for useful content and information. However, lately it just seems everyone uses it for their own self promotion and regurgitate old news. Not to mention the obnoxious soundtracks, paired with overly produced, endless opening title sequences. Don't get me started on the ads.

When I first opened this post (only 1 or 2 replies at the time), I immediately opted out. As others have mentioned, I'm on TW to read and learn, not promote someone's dream to be an internet star. If OP had written out his list, and it was something new and intriguing, I would have watched the video for more detailed info. However, as it turns out, as many suspected, they were common mods that have been detailed (in writing) ad nauseam.

I agree with the other poster, there's no need to bash OP's personal aesthetic. However, I also see/understand people's irritation with this type of post.

Lol in my opinion that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. Instead of writing anything, he said all of what he needed to say in the video. What “value” are you looking for?

Hear me out. Let’s say he writes down his list. A plain 1 through 5 list. Then many people, especially new TacomaWorld members or people who are new to the aftermarket world might look at those items and have no idea what they are like his number 5 a switch pro for example. Then the person goes to research it on their own which is totally fine and dandy. I’m all for researching things. Then they are still taking quite a bit of their own time to look it up and will probably end up watching a video on it anyways. Many people are visual learners or like to see something explained visually instead of written down. In my opinion, the OP did a pretty decent job explaining what the switch pro was and why he likes it. So this is where I’m not understanding the haters.

Please understand I’m not trying to argue. I’m too tired for that. I’m just voicing my opinion in a nice civilized manner.

I get that there are people of every shape, size, and color and we’re all different and have different opinions. I like to think of myself as a nice dude and just don’t like it when other people talk shit to people that don’t deserve it.

I don’t think you were personally trashing the dude but this post is just a general idea of my thoughts on the subject
