Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
I agree with this guy. For reference, 2017 TRD OR with Tech package 28k miles was on the lot for $33,500 and guy paid $33,000. $31,000 could be a good deal on an OR, but not a super deal on a SR5, comparatively. More info please OP.

Or may have lifted it and messed up with alignment hence the off centered steering wheel. The cv boots sometimes gets messed up after a lift more than 2.5 inches. Removed the lift and traded it in.

He said it was an AC sport with technology package. Price was not mentioned though. Either way I say he should find another truck. Even if it’s a good deal it’s had previous hail damage and the CV thing. Better trucks for maybe just a bit more dough.

Why are you worried? It has the factory warranty still intact. Easy fix that’s not going to cost you anything. As far as the hail damage, that’s different. I’d tell them to repair the hail damage before buying it.

That's not a common problem. Have the dealer fix it, have them align it, and make the deal! Unless this truck is lifted. If its lifted, then maybe walk away. If its stock, it seems like some kind of random manufacturing defect. It happens

I just wonder if they would fix everything and not lower the price much. Dealerships can be pretty shady. Hope he gets a good truck in the end.

    It still true.

You bought new then sold during the steepest part of the depreciation curve. Of course you took a beating. As someone who bought a new trd OR for 32k, selling your modded truck for 30k sounds like you got a good price. Now your truck had the P&T package I'm guessing (mine has neither), but for someone to buy a modded rig for 33k with 28k miles when a new one can be had for 36k boggles the mind. Mods add 0 value.

I wouldn't want it. A brand spanking new Sport 4wd AC retails for 35, which can be talked down to 34 without much effort. Hail damaged and curbed would need a bigger discount than 5k for me. At 7k, maybe I would jump on it. If I were you I'd walk away from any price above 28. But that's my wallet speaking, not necissarily yours:spending:

Tax and delivery fee can be over $3k so you’ll have to ask $27k not sure they’d do that, but can’t hurt to ask. Also get in writing they’ll fix everything.

Fore reference: I paid $31k for my '18 new 4 months ago (before TTL). No packages. Push them below 30k (including TTL) at least or go new. Personally, if it's within 4-5k of new I'd go new.

check all the wheels, it looks like the po hit a curb or a pothole, I'd walk away from it, seems shady.

the fact that the boot is torn AND it's out of alignment means it hit something on that side. probably drove off the side of the road while texting in a hail storm. there could be more issues. I wouldn't do it. buy a new one.
