I love Industrial Metal Supply. Always have to check the remnants section! I have found some great pieces in there.

My wife likes her blanket. She says the heat blowing on her, dries her eyes out. I kind of agree with her.

Well, dammit...it looks like retirement is going to be a little more complicated. Since I gave the Tacoma to my son I'm pretty much tied to the Jeep as my hunting/camping/ fishing/ all around vehicle. But it looks as though I'll probably be adding a 4 wheeler to the equation so I can't really go with the "squaredrop". So now I'm back to square 1 and deciding between a small cargo trailer conversion that the Jeep will handle or an open bed trailer with a partial build that will accommodate a 4 wheeler. I knew this could be a possibility all along but I put more stock into the squaredrop idea.

It is like a candy store. I decided to make a "bbq grill extender"

With this grill, the fire is too close to the food, burns easily. So I added about 15 inches of distance. It uses a but more charcoal, but slows the cook and adds a little more flavor. 2 pieces of 22 (or 24) gauge cost me a whopping $5.60.

    Careful there.

Our retirement plans change monthly... we have a teardrop. Love it, but ready to upsize just a tad. I’m about to buy a motorcycle... adds to the toys...
Current retirement plan says sell off some of the toys... looking for a small condo to occupy for about 6 months a year. Better deal would be to find someone to buy in and occupy some or all the other 6 months.

I've been thinking about clearing some of the toys now but they may help me keep my sanity later. I would like to get a piece of land but we have so much public it really doesn't make sense to go buy a chunk when I can use the public land for free or a small annual fee.

It's been drizzling here most of the day. It got heavy enough to knock out the satellite tv for about 20 minutes.

Good morning knuckleheads. Got some chores to do today, clean the inside of my truck while the weather is unseasonably warm. But for now it’s COFFEE TIME.
