true... but that AA12 was stupid, plus none of those guys could shoot for shit, I guess that what happens when you are hip firing... considering they all are badass killers with so much training.

I might trick off $9 just to see it...I'm a big fan (and the sequels never trump the original anyway). Thanks for the heads-up guys!

What about that ending man they sure could have done a lot better. The first movie was the best than I would say AVP2, but they just hit an miss to much on this franchise.

the good thing about the movie was the previews for MACHETE!

I saw it, it sucked. Their guns ddin't do jack shit, but they can kill the predators with swords etc? The ending made no sense IMO.

That AA12 shot like an assault rifle, or he must of had a shit load of choke on those rounds because there was no buck shot what so ever. If they were such good killers and had training then why were they hip firing so much? The chick with the sniper rifle was ineffective also, how good is sniping if it's close quarters? The writers were dumbasses. Ok im done with a portion of my rant.

Damn it. I fucking knew it. I told my friends, this is probably going to suck. I can tell because the gauntlet blades on the Predators in the poster are the same size as the ones in AVP.

AKA - Prepare for some serious suckage.

Damn this shit really burns my balls.

Lol...ugh. I saw the Troublemaker Studios banner come up before the preview for Machete. Then I saw it again when Predators started and I thought 'oh no...'

Hahah I'm glad to see Danny Trejo finally get a starring role instead of just being a bad guy that gets killed off but it reeked of a really cheap Desperado clone. Motorcycle mounted minigun summed that one up  :p

i'm gonna have to jump in and say i liked it. was it good? not really. but it was a predator movie, and i cant completely turn my back on a predator movie no matter how bad it is. yes the plot was lame. yes the guns were ridiculous. yes, the highly trained special forces guys couldn't shoot for shit. yeah, fishburnes character looks suspiciously well fed and groomed for a scavenging survivalist. the fact that there were 2, possibly 3 different kinds of predators (different sizes or classes or whatever) and the movie never went into details about them pissed me off. wtf was that thing that was chasing the convict and why did bugs always crawl out of them? yeah, the chick used a sniper rifle wiht a powerful scope in close combat in a jungle. the shotgun guy had a huge kinfe that doubled as a machete on his hip. he also had a huge knife that doubled as a machette on his chest (this made him look more like a GI joe toy than an actual ex seal or whatever he was). the movie was very flawed. but at the same time, there was some good gore and lets not forget... PREDATORS! i hate both AVP movies but i always watch them when they are on TV because i'm fascinated with the fanchise. i am however, sick and fucking tired of these half assed hack directors butchering the two best sci fi franchises of all time. i wish someone like JJ Abrams (i was blown away by the new star trek) would get ahold of the rights and actually do a good job with these movies.

but here's my biggest complaint. the predator history is huge. i am only familiar with the movies but they ahve comic books and toys and games and possible other forms of media i am not aware of. there's a huge back history and culture and all that. i'm tired of seeing a group of badass's fight these things. this 3rd movie was so uninspired. i wish we could see more aobu their homeworld, or more about their history, or maybe how they first got involved with the aliens. something, anything other than a bunch of assholes in a jungle shooting at and missing everything around them.

yeah, rodriguez may be awesome at grindhouse movies, but he should have kept his hands off predators.

Who thought the chick with the sniper rifle scope on her face was a cool idea? Unless it was some soft little rubber thingy ma thing, that would seriously hurt. It looked pretty much like a solid peice to me though?
