Try this.. remove the return line at the reservior and plug the res so it wont spill out. Then extend the return line with a piece of hose down into a bucket. Without turning the engine on, simply turn the steering wheel lock to lock and you'll see the level go down in the reservior and the dirty fluid will go into the bucket. Keep turning lock to lock and add fluid as needed

I use something just like that. But I chose Valvoline MaxLife. Did 4 suck and fills over a few days...on a cold engine each time

Yep....that works too. I just chose the suck and fill because it takes 2-3 minutes each time.

Wayyyyyy Cool! Can't wait to hear your voice. I'm going to program mine tomorrow morning.

The only reason I bought the second larger battery was to have a spare in case of heavy use on the trails. I'm also looking for a 12v charger. They make a 12v adapter for the talkie but I remember reading the TX can generate some serious heat with a cigarette plug. For now I'll see how two batts hold me. If I need a third then so be it.

    Again, congratulations!

No one breaks laws more than I do but not this one. It's more a right of passage than just a means of communication. I also intend to help out and join the Amerture Radio Emergency Services in my area. We have a huge community Emergency Services station near me. You need a license for general HAM operations but especially this.

You could go with the middle ground. GMRS. Most HAM radios can operate on thos frequencies which would allow you to talk to those guys but not CBs. You just need to pay the $70 FCC license fee.

Nothing wrong with CBs at all. I plan on getting some decent walkie talkies.

It boils down to how far in distance do you want to communicate with people. Out in the open, on highways CBs are great and have very long range. As soon as you get on heavily wooded trails, canyons, or valleys your distance goes to shit. It's like cell phone coverage.

GMRS gets you a little more distance.

HAM is virtually unlimited depending on your license type. There are three. The minimum allows you to still talk to the astronauts on the International Space Station though. How cool is that?! But you're also going to be able to talk to me over here while I'm wheeling just about anywhere while your wheeling over there just about anywhere.

But trust me, as I said, my motto, it is all legal till you get caught.

Eric, here, I used this study guide

    Technician Class 2018-2022 (EasyWayHamBooks Book 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079S3LJ8B/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_grymCb8N5PBD7

$5 bucks off Amazon and then download the free Kindle app to access it. What's great about this study guide is it only gives you the correct answers, and doesn't waste your time playing games showing you the wrong ones. I downloaded it to my Samsung Android tablet and then using my wireless Samsung headphones I enabled text to speach and just kept listening over and over even while I was at work.

Then, here is the link (below) to the official test website. Each time you take a test it is a different one because as Joey said, there are only 35 questions but they are from a pool of over 400. Your allowed to miss up to 9.

    Have fun.
