Trying to decide on 887s or 888s. Like the idea of 888s potentially giving me 2.75" lift in the front but is it worth the extra money to do UCAs and run into other issues by maxing out geometry?

I've searched and seen all the pics of 888s/887s with dakars but I feel like there are more of you out there with this setup so please post pics of 887/888s and dakars.

You’ll need UCAs for any lift over 2”.

Edit: It helps dramatically with the alignment

I've heard lots of people get away with stocks on 887s and some run stock on 888s

I've tried every combo in the search bar and have seen all it has to offer.
It was amazing and I'm a changed man.
That being said I feel like there are more dudes out there that haven't posted pics in areas I've searched.

I tried stock UCAs with 888s and after two unsuccessful alignments, went with SPC LR. If you’re already doing the lift, you might as well take care of that.

Proper UCAs will help the suspension lift cycle.

Buy once cry once, you'll be happy you did.

What size tires were you trying to get aligned?

Definitely agree with this. That's why I'm leaning towards UCAs

    Do UCAs help with dampening?
What exactly changes while driving on pavement when you get new UCAs?

What spec of the alignment was giving you trouble?

Dampening is controlled by the shock. It corrects the steering geometry and doesn't wonder at higher speeds.

That doesn't matter, if you are out of alignment.

    Tires are expensive...

    Stuff, things, this, an ADS
Trust me after 3 years of research I lived by this statement. I finally got all the parts and pulled the trigger. Install date is the 15th.
