    I did have one of those. I sold it though. I was a little iffy with how much of an obstruction it made in the intake. Definitely simpler than what I'm committed to:)

    The nozzel spray patterns usually spreads out right away and will probably hit the inside screw threads
    with it set in that far back

    Thank you very much for the pics. That's quite helpful. I think if I bore out both sides I can make a success. I need a right angle drill. Doing the inside with a dremel would be pulling teeth.

    Yeah. I'll have to split some differences. The pre made meth plates I've seen are about half the thickness of what I'm messing with. I didnt like the idea of a 2nd adapter.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    I'd love to see what kind of power you can really make with it on a real tune. The stock ECU is so skiddish with timing and you can't really adjust for the methanol content either. I'd wager there's over 50 ponies hiding in tuning alone with your setup.

    Pages back I posted some info on types of juice and the power it yields. A s/c Camaro was around 40 hp with no special tuning. With a wizard tuner on a dyno and an adjustable ecu I bet 50 hp is realistic.

    The Tb wont accumulate residue. I really just wanted it there. No special gains.

    Hmm...well I’m spraying just water so maybe I’ll just go with the welded aluminum bung. I’ll have a self cleaning self maintaining TB. That’s +10 hp right there.

    Maybe I can position the nozzle carefully on the bottom of the intake tube and attempt to hide it.

    The residue is actually very minimal and is actually more of a pink stain then an actual residue from rhe boost juice I use

    The upside of the nozzle before the throttle body is that it keeps the throttle body squeeze clean with zero carbon build up,
    I have a jillion miles my throttle body and it still looks like it's in new condition

    Well remember the methanol acts like a cleaning solution for all the hard carbon buildup on the throttle body and valves too.

    My valves are the same way squeezy clean too from the methanol
