1st (1985) Toyota 4x4 extra cab was tan, 2nd (2000) Prerunner regular cab was white, 3rd (2008) Prerunner double cab was red and 4th (2016) Sport access is blue. I did like the red 2008 but I really love the blue. Inferno was my 1st color of choice for the 2016, barcelona was my 2nd choice, but too long of a wait for either. Bought the blue sight unseen from another state. As soon as I pulled into the dealer lot, after a 4 hour drive, and saw the blue in person I knew I made the right choice. How many blue access cab rear wheel drive Sports have you seen. When I bought mine there were 11 in the country with the closest one over 1000 miles away. I think I have one of the rarest trucks of the 3rd gen. Keeps me honest too. I couldn't rob a bank or anything because the popo would find my truck too quickly. That is why I like my combo so much. Unique. Added the Pro grille and headlights, along with amber Baja Designs fogs, so it is now uniquely unique. The only few access Sports I have seen locally have been 4x4 and either black, magnetic gray or silver. Just about every access cab rwd I have seen have been SR or SR5. My combo choice did make it very difficult to find. The only slight regret I have is not getting 4x4. I really don't need it but I was afraid of getting poor mpg. I sold a gas guzzling 2014 mgm F150 V8 with a towing rear gear to buy the 2016 Taco so mpg was an important factor.

I can’t say I’ve seen a bbp access cab in any trim local to me.

Yours looks really good. I like the amber fogs...really helps it to "pop". I'm not sure the 4X4 system is a "guzzler" though, as it is a part time system. But since you don't need it, there should be no regret, right? I get around 19 mpg typically per tank.

Just keep on enjoying your baby. I tried (a little bit...soft sell) to get the wife to buy in on the inferno...she wanted safety, and I came back with "what is safer than an orange safety cone driving down the road?" She didn't find that as a good defense. I would not have been upset with that color...but am happier with the BBP. Just making sure she was as happy with the BBP as I was when I saw it on the lot.

My wife told me I would get tired of driving the inferno. Especially when I get to be 70 years old. My thought in late 2015, after seeing BBP in so many commercials and print ads, was that inferno would be rare and BBP would be too common. That turned out to be quite the opposite in my area. SeE an inferno every day. See a BBP maybe once a month. Glad I got BBP.

For sure! Glad I went the BBP direction too. No offense to the Infernos, but that color reminds me of a 23 year old kid who got daddy's money and wanted a Tacoma. Since I'm over that threshold and have to pay for my truck, it really only came down to the trim level on the blue.

Same here as well, with the "wife advice" except my 2nd choice was "Taliban-tan" (quicksand). Also I can truly say I am not tired of mine, and I am "71".

Anybody else notice the Tacoma commercial Toyota used on the NFL Wild Card games this weekend? It was either our BBP or the Voodoo Blue, but it looked like our BBP to me.

I did not see it, but I would find it hard to believe they would put a discontinued color in a ad for 19's --unless they were pushing the leftover 18's!?

Who had these wheels on their truck? I remember seeing it in here somewhere, but don't remember in which of the 227 pages it was. Wanted to see them in the Truck again.
