For those who have added door sill protectors (pic attached), do you have any tips for installation? I'm assuming they go as far under the rubber door seal as possible and then bend the outer edges down. Hopefully they stick well enough to stay down as long as everything is clean and prepped properly. As far as placement (front to back) I would think that they will need to be installed as far forward on the flat surface as possible. Any advice would be appreciated.

Nice, make sure they were sand blasted or the powder coat won’t stick long term on the steel

Sounds good. Truck needs a bath first since it's done nothing but rain here for the past month. Gonna try and get it washed and cleaned up today and do the install shortly after. Thanks for the tips.

Working more on the Group 27F, I took apart the factory battery wire harness. I won't have to extend either cable doing it this way. I do need a tray for this bad boy... thinking some 1/4 plate tacked to the factory sheet metal. The positive power cable comijng out of the fuse box will need to be extended a 4" and replace. Will post back next weekend after I make this cable and batt tray/plate.

Alright doll-face, c'mon and bore me!
Just wondering why you're doing it the hard way. The Group 27RPG has the (+) and (-) terminals swapped and the Gen2 oem (okay, it's plastic) battery tray is for the larger battery.

I just bought the Toyota 27F tray. Drops right in the same holes as the original. Made for 2nd gen V6 Prerunner or 4x4 with tow package. Stock cables.

I love the look of my custom grill pieces on your truck. This is the first truck I’ve seen with them installed. How do you like them? Pretty easy to install? I still get asked daily how people can buy all of the pieces.
