He should just by my aluminum bike trailer and call it a day, hell I can even weld on some funky shocks if it helps the sale

Anyone know if there's a good outdoor gear tailor in the area?

I have a jacket and maybe skiing overalls that I'd like to add vent zippers to.

    What hasn't been modified?
    No
    still got the hitch carrier
    Don’t need another trailer...

Just thinking about the way the shock is mounted in relation to travel. Instead of replacing my rear shocks for longer ones cound bring them up parallel with the frame and use the lever to get the long travel in the rear

I'm not an expert on the matter, there's a few people on here in the LT section with a cantilever rear. Might ask in there. I even think one of the LT companies (LSK maybe??) makes a kit for the 2nd gens.

I wouldn't bother on a 2nd gen where you can get the shocks outside of the frame. Even if you go LT with shocks through the bed, you hardly loose any bed space. Cantilever is more complicated, harder to tune the shocks, and quicker to heat them up.

A 4:1 and up motion ratio will work cantilever shocks twice as hard and need twice as much maintenance. IMO not work the trouble if your paying someone else to figure it out for you.

Hung out in BV this weekend. Almost summited Yale. I started late, and only ~3miles in did i realize I didnt swap over all my food from my other pack. So I was running low and was getting a leg cramp as I scrambled up the last half a mile of steep snow. Made it to a false summit a few hundred feet and I was beat and facing likely -30 or less wind chill and called it.

Swung out to Weston Pass on my way home since I wanted to find some moose! No moose, but found the light snow turned into a snow drift where someone got stuck earlier. I just put it in 4wd but had traction control crap on... killed all my momentum and I got stuck and was packed to the frame. :annoyed:

A few minutes and the maxtrax got me back moving. I found the 2nd gen tacoma at a hiking trailhead, he was chained up. Didn't have any other issues after turning TC off. I made it up a few miles until the last tracks stopped in a large drift and turned around.

Heres some Tacoma content! Speaking of playing in the snow, I got reminded that two years ago I was out goofing off as well. Imagine that shit!

This was exploring near the reservoir by the boy scout camp place near where Middle St Vrain or some other trails in that area dump out. I was sliding the corner while putting on gloves and decided the snow bank was better than into the reservoir.

    15936552_901202907895_6205260791652048254_o.jpg
Threw the maxtrax behind the rear tire with locker on and backed out.

    Heading out of that road
    15936418_901202848015_158898583769756858_o.jpg

I then had second thoughts about driving Switzerland trail since there was clearly a ton of snow, it was late, I was alone, but... I figured I always do dumb things, bring it on!

Got a half mile or so past the last house when coming from the west entrance and found a 2nd gen buried in the snow. At that point I realized there is no rear recovery point on a Tacoma if you dont have a hitch.

So I snatched off trees in front to try to pull him to less snow and the ability to plow out. No dice with his tires. We repeated this a few times until it was wide enough for me to pass. Once I passed I pulled him into my tracks where he was able to then follow without a problem. Snow bashed the rest of the way out!

I did not. Honestly I’ve never shot indoor so let’s go. My buddy and I went up to yankee last week after I talked to you. It was awesome. No one there. About 2-3 inches of fresh powder all the way to the shooting range.
We gotta hook up anyway. I owe you $6 and a bag full of brass.

Where'd you take the Anus wheeling today? I thought the videos were Photoshopped since it doesn't look like Yankee Hill. :bananadead:
