    I had the same problem with my third gen URD y-pipe. I finally made a road trip up to Gadget’s shop and he was able to fix it. I still want to get the JFR equal length y-pipe. Although it would be nice to go when everyone else is going to be there and meet some of the TW members I just don’t think he would have enough time for my project. I am still trying to gather some of the data he will need and plan on going when his 2nd gen backlog is caught up.

    The 3rd gen doesn’t have prerunners anymore but it is a 4X2.

    Hope you feel better from the vertigo, Roost. Did you have a lot of flight time as a C-130 mech? All my flight time is rotary wing, so we mostly flew low and slow. Only experienced vertigo once and it was brief, but not fun.

    Probably under 200hrs. Just flying to and from deployments.

    My vertigo is called "Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV): Inner ear disorder that causes recurrent, yet brief, episodes of vertigo that are generally brought on by movement of the head. BPPV is a common cause of vertigo, and generally only lasts a few minutes at a time. Believed to be caused by the shifting of calcium crystals in the ear (known at otoliths) which, when the head moves, can affect the fluid flow and production of the inner ear which can cause sensations of dizziness and nausea."

    If I dont move my head I'm fine but as soon as I turn or tilt my head in any direction everything spins for 30 seconds or so. It is amazingly debilitating!

    After a few days I am back to normal.

    Yes it's very much like getting the spins when drunk but happens instantly. No hangover though :D

    Funny story.....My first episode of vertigo was right after I got to Afghanistan so the guys nicknamed me Dizzy. Then they realized I tend to be a bit hyper so they added Dug (from the movie Up). So my full nickname was Dizzy Dug but people just called me Dug.
    After awhile many people didnt even know my real name as I responded to Dug so that's all everybody called me. Great times!

    So far perfectly. I've got some SS 3' pipe cut ready to go. I'm honing my TIG skills now. Ill weld the rest myself. Then it all goes out to get ceramic coated inside and out. No expense spared.
