Just my thought, only included those rifles as who knows how much longer they will be around. Usp is a solid choice but I have started just using steyr for 2 gun lately on the pistol front with either a robar ar15 or lwrc ic spr and I have been really happy with it.

People underestimate how far projectiles really can go. Its fun shooting to the extreme distances for a particular round.

I've got a first gen Vortex Viper for sale. Mil dial and mil reticle. It's a 6-24x50 first focal plane. It's got a couple scratches, but they are cosmetic and don't affect the function of the scope.
    $700 obo.

I know there's a guy on reddit running a 300blk on 225 subs out to 300, let me see if I can find his writeups.

I love that sub. Cool write up for sure. I regularly push my 223 bolt gun to 500yds. Its well inside its effective range and very fun.

Even 22lr i hit the 12" plates at 300 yds the vast majority if the time. Using standard velocity, the hardest part is knowing i actually hit the plate! The plate doesnt movemuch or make any noise so you have to watch for the splash under the target.

I need to get out at shoot more. I ran my 223 axis in a local PRS match and loved it, but then the weather set in and I've not gone out much since

Nice! I want to start shooting in some competitions. Long range, 22 and 3gun all interest me quite a bit! Eventually.

Our range hosts border wars and other PRS affiliated matches so I've got good access, but I'll be moving out of state mid season next year so I'm kinda SOL.

Are they not? That’s surprising for Virginia... unless if I’m unclear on what an actual street sweeper is

Street sweepers are a weird area where the shotgun exemption to the destructive device laws was revoked, and many states banned them outright. Forgotten weapons did a video a while back that went into good detail

Even with the Saiga and Vepr 12 so as long as you dont have a folding stock and even with box mags that hold more than 12 rds...

The really scary part about the SS is that it was placed on the NFA list as a DD destructive device .. with the stroke of a pen .The Secretary of the Treasury - Benson did it without the consent of congress If I remember right.

In all fairness, all they did was remove the general shotgun exemption from being a DD for that particular gun. It wasn't so much added to a bad list as removed from the good one. It was argued that the shotgun sporting exemption didn't apply to it.
