Did you mean to type this or did you just type what you were thinking.

Just curious if I’m the only one that does it.

I gave my bed a quarter inch body lift today. Used some big washers as spacers, pretty easy. Why you might ask would I do that? Well when I lower the tailgate there was very little space between the tailgate and the bumper. When we have any snow at all I would have to completely clear it off the bumper or the tailgate wouldn't go all the way down. Now there is enough space between them that it shouldn't be a problem.

Finally got to installing my "new" drivers seat. Seat is out of gen 3 4runner and I reskinned them with Katzkins. Put in heating elements as well but haven't wired those yet. I'm a little worried about doing the passengers side now because it doesn't scoot forward as much as I thought it would :confused:

Nice. How much did it cost you? Looks a lot better than mine, but then again I did mine myself.

Seats were $100 on CL and the Katzkins were $800. I'm really impressed with the quality and fit. I'm impressed with yours though. No way I could do it myself.

Good. Everything went back together just fine. One thing I noticed is it sounds different when cranking the starter. Not bad or anything, just different. I think it's because I put a new flywheel on that has new sharp teeth.

Thanks man. That’s a bit higher than I expected. So That means the stock pack with no sag is about ~22.5” witch I think is what ToyTec says it is.

I don’t really know what to do now. I don’t really want any more than 23” on the rear. Mine would be sitting ass high because I won’t go higher than 2” up front.

If you put any weight they level out. Which is how they should be set up. But i like them they do ride really nice. I know thats subjective. Just a little weight in the back and they go from good to amazing.
    But good luck either way.
I don't really think you'll be able to tell a 1" difference. But with your size tires id like the extra room.

Installed a fluid reservoir today. Haven’t had one since I bought the truck. Should have done this a long time ago. I need to put a riv-nut for the top bolt there.

I’m just picky dude. Thing is I like a bit of the rear end being higher in an extended cab like yours. But with the double cabs I like it to sit dead level. I prefer it to be level empty and squat carrying a load because it’s empty most of the time. I probably carry ~350lbs for an few hours at a time a few times a month.
